Daily Life as Practice: 7 Point Mind Training

with Paloma Landry

Katog Choling Rit'hrod, Parthenon, Arkansas

January 6 - 7, 2018

The Seven Points of Mind Training by Atisha is an essential lojong text that Khentrul Rinpoche has taught on numerious occasions at different centers in the US.  Lojong, also known as mind training, is the basis and heart of all other practices.  No matter what he teaches, Rinpoche emphasizes the mind training techniques of lojong.  In order to fully integrate these methods into our everyday experience, we must develop the habit of continued study and daily implementation of each training.

This January, Rinpoche's translator Paloma Landry will lead us in an integrative workshop that will review the 7 key points of Atisha's text extracted from Khentrul Rinpoche's teachings.  We will discuss these key points and welcome personal stories and examples of how we are applying the lojong practices in our lives, both the challenges and the successes.
Online Course
Following the weekend, there will be a supportive online practice course that actively guides us through each practice of the seven key points of the workshop. This optional course will provide eight months of daily contemplations for integrating mind training into our everyday lives.
