Most of the happiness and suffering we experience is dependent upon a way of thinking of mind. Also, a positive and noble human life, and eliminating past mistakes in order to access a treasury of positive qualities within ourselves, too are dependent upon mind. Understanding how it works is the key to opening the secret doorway to the mind and likewise to happiness. This is a teaching on how we can change our mind and hence our experience by learning about principle mind and the mental states accompanying it; an exploration of how these arise, their defining characteristics and how they affect our lives. If we understand our mind, it is easy to engage constructively towards our desired goals while disengaging in those mental patterns that are destructive, preventing us from getting what we truly wish for.
