The Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva by Ngulchu Togmed

with H.H. Katog Getse Rinpoche

Katog Jnana Ling, Salt Lake City, Utah

September 18 - 19, 2010

Saturday 2pm-5pm & Sunday 9am-12pm & 2pm-5pm

This brief text contains all the key points of practice for a complete spiritual path culminating in ultimate enlightenment: initial methods for the beginner, how to practice in the middle, and how to achieve the end fruition. Included are explanations on practicing bodhichitta—kindhearted intention, the six perfections, calm abiding meditation, and profound insight, methods for carrying adversity onto the path. By studying and contemplating these teachings, we discover an extraordinary means to develop spiritual practice through logic and reasoning, resulting in confidence arising from the very core of our being.  These teachings inspire us to earnestly endeavor on the ultimate path, urging us to leave behind all activities that bring small results and instead rejoice in the practice that bears great fruit.
